Why does a restaurant need a blog? We send out a monthly email newsletter and we have a website www.flightwoodgrill.com that contains our menu and wine list, but sometimes the wine we expected doesn’t come in or other last minute changes occur that may affect your dining experience. Check here! We can even send you a quick email as soon as information is posted — just click “subscribe” below.

Nan Jennings, Flight’s Sommelier, will be contributing posts about wine, natch. Flight’s Sous Chef, Rob Keener, will check in with ponderings on the amuse bouche and other foodie talk. And, if that’s not exciting enough, we’ll be exploring the history of the old bank building where we are located, too. There are rumors of a secret nightclub in the basement.

Flight Wood Grill and Wine Bar has a web site www.flightwoodgrill. There you will find all the necessary information - how to make reservations on-line, the menu, the wine list, the address and phone number. Flight needed a place to show some unneeded information so we started this blog.

    Okay, so I’m doing a vanity search and I discover this site. I am not a chef but I used to own a pizza place. My brother, Lee, is an executive chef here in Pittsburgh.
    Just thought I’d say hi.
