Flight Wood Grill’s August email offered a prize for the best cocktail/martini recipes and the winner is….. Rick Prudhomme. Rick is the Marketing Director at Pardee. Flight will feature his martinis in September, but in the meantime, if you’d like to give it a go, here are the recipes:
The Bleus
2 1/2 oz vodka or gin (always dry)
Chopin or Sapphire
Build in mixing glass, shake and strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with a rosemary spear of Spanish Queen olives stuffed with Maytag bleu cheese.
Saucy Minx
1 1/2 oz Absolut Raspberry
1/2 oz Marie Brizard Creme de Cassis
1 1/2 oz fresh sour
3 fresh raspberries
float of Red Bull
In an ice filled mixing glass add above ingredients and shake vigorously. Strain into a raspberry sugar rimmed martini glass.
